Read School is a boarding and day school of around 360 boys and girls ages 4 – 18.

The school exists to provide an all-round education for its pupils, combining tradition with the best of modern practice.

In a Senior School of 260 and a Junior School of 100, with over forty members of teaching staff, it is possible for every boy and girl to have an influence in the school. You are never new here for long and those joining the school are quickly assimilated into the busy routine. Everyone is important and everyone makes a contribution for the good of the school.

Education at The Read School is designed to provide the boys and girls with the skills necessary to enable each to participate effectively in their life beyond the classroom.
