Aysgarth is one of the country’s leading Prep Schools for boys, incorporating a full boarding focused, boys’ Prep School for 8 to 13 year olds, and a Pre Prep and Nursery for boys and girls aged from 3 to 8.

We believe strongly in the value of boarding as a means of developing a boy in every respect - to be happy, confident, courteous, independent and ambitious. Employers today look for these characteristics as well as the academic excellence that we provide. The chapel is at the heart of the school reflecting the importance of the Christian faith and values taught within the school.
Oak House is the Pre Prep and Nursery School for boys and girls from two and a half to eight years old. Most of the boys come on to the prep school and the girls move to other local schools. It provides a happy and rewarding start to a child's education.
